 本学農学府は、修士課程(農学専攻)と博士課程(共同獣医学専攻)を有する大学院であり、食料?環境?生命科学の分野で最先端の研究と教育を推進し、持続可能な社会の実現に貢献する高度人材を育成することを目的としています。現代社会は、気候変動や食料?資源安全保障、生態系の保全、感染症拡大など、多くの深刻な課題に直面しています。農学は、これらの社会課題解決に向けた科学的アプローチを提供し、未来を切り拓く重要な学問です。 

 本学府では、専門性を深めるとともに、異分野融合の視点を持ち、先端的なAIや情報通信技術を取り入れながら、社会の多様なニーズに対応できる高度専門人材の育成を目指しています。また、国内外の研究機関や産業界との連携を強化し、海外への研究留学を推進し、グローバルな視点で課題解決に取り組むことを重視しています。

Overview of Graduate School of Agriculture

Graduate School of Agriculture aims to provide in-depth academic knowledge from a broad perspective and to develop talented individuals who have the research skills in their major fields, as well as the outstanding abilities to take on jobs that require a high level of expertise, in order to contribute to solving various issues in the fields of agriculture, life science, environmental science, and veterinary science and to creating a sustainable society.

Department of Agriculture (Master's Program)

To foster talented individuals with advanced research capabilities who will lead the fields of bioproduction science, applied biochemistry, natural environment resources, food and agricultural information engineering, geosociology, and international innovation. To achieve this goal, we also conduct academic research in the above-mentioned specialized fields.

Cooperative Division of Veterinary Sciences (4-year doctoral course)

To foster talented individuals with advanced research capabilities who will lead the fields of basic veterinary medicine, animal health and public health, and advanced animal clinical practice. To achieve this goal, we also conduct innovative academic research in the above-mentioned specialized fields.

WISE Program in TUAT

Cultivating outstanding leaders who will drive the "super smart society" through new industry creation and diversity
Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology WISE Program in Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology is recruiting students for the program from students who will be entering the university's master's program (including master's and Specialist WISE Program in Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology) and doctoral program (including four-year doctoral programs, doctoral programs, and integrated doctoral programs) from 2019. There are no restrictions on fields of expertise, and all fields and majors at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology are eligible.

The Graduate School of Excellence is characterized by "creating new industries" and "diversity." Agriculture and engineering collaborate, and in cooperation with private companies and overseas research and educational institutions, the program takes "creating new industries that will contribute to the agricultural distribution revolution realized through cutting-edge engineering technology" as an example of a theme. The program sets research themes in a variety of research fields with a high degree of freedom in order to train highly skilled doctoral candidates.
